Another brilliant blend, the 2011 Sagacious is 38% Syrah, 34% Mourvedre and 28% Grenache, all of which spent 20 months in 40% new French oak. Black raspberry, cassis, white pepper, leather and crushed flowers all emerge from this beauty, and it stays weightless and elegant on the palate, with fantastic purity and freshness. It`s hard to resist now, but it will evolve gracefully as well.
