It’s herbal, spicy, slightly animal and scented with rosemary. As with so many of these ’05 Ken Wright Pinots, it is beautifully balanced and elegant, and this, more than any other, could pass for premier cru Burgundy.

The 2005 Pinot Noir Savoya Vineyard is the first vineyard Ken Wright purchased and developed from scratch in 1998. It offers a fragrant perfume, a plush palate, and a lighter, more elegant style than its peers. There is bracing acidity to provide uplift, excellent balance, and ample ripe, sweet fruit. Drink this stylish Pinot over the next 8-10 years.
