The wine shows plenty of tobacco and vanilla character with chocolate and berries. Full body, with super fine tannins. It’s so long and refined. It's a divergence from the big, powerful style of the past.

WA92

Dark color. Fairly restrained bouquet offers notes of ripe cherries and acetone. Much more impressive in the mouth; big, bold, rich, juicy, powerful, and minty. This 2008 Bordeaux has many attributes including heavily extracted fruit, layered complexity, concentration, great acidity, and excellent palate presence. The wine also shows a lot of tannin, glycerin, and high alcohol. It's a young, very attractive wine that will continue to evolve. Rating: 92+
