Bright medium ruby. Rich, tangy aromas of cassis, bitter chocolate, spicecake and black pepper. Tightly wound, savory wine with terrific peppery energy to its flavors of cassis, boysenberry and wild herbs. Lovely vibrant Cabernet with a restrained sweetness and a powerful spine for extended aging, but still quite youthfully imploded and in need of time in bottle to expand. Finishes with superb rising length. Rating: 93+
