Medium ruby-purple colored, the 2016 Pinot Noir Bodega Vineyard has a compelling animal/meaty waft over a core of baked cherries, warm strawberries, rhubarb, fertile loam, dried Provence herbs and lavender. Medium-bodied with a great mid-palate of muscular red fruit, it has a solid line of grainy tannins and plenty of freshness, finishing long with loads of mineral and earthy layers.
