Its juicy fruits are a part of a package with the concentrated tannins and smoky wood flavors that allow for long aging. Subtle, elegant, quietly powerful, this is one of the best Brane-Cantenacs I have tasted over the past decade. The wine is seamless, with lovely violet, cedar and cassis flavors and silky, dense tannins. A beautiful wine that has both restraint and power.
