The 2014 Chablis Grand Cru Bougros, which is matured for 12 months in three- to six-year-old barrels, has a simple lime and green apple scented bouquet that really needs to show more complexity. The palate is better with fresh lime and light honeyed notes on the entry, balanced but failing to deliver real complexity and mineralité on the finish. This could have been better, given the vineyard.
