- The 2013 Chambolle Musigny Noirots 1er Cru comes from a half-hectare of 45-year-old vines planted on slightly richer soil than the Chatelots that is littered with larger rocks. The wine has a lighter and more floral bouquet than the Les Chatelots, wilted rose petals infusing the slightly ephemeral red fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, lighter in style compared to Sigaut's other premier crus, and yet harmonious and tensile right to the tart red cherry finish. This constitutes one of those wines that you'll polish off far quicker than you intended!
