- Well, if this is what someone calls a brilliant mistake, then I’m all in. This 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is beautiful wine with a dense purple color, loads of crème de cassis, licorice, blackberry, spice, a full-bodied mouthfeel, no hard edges, well-integrated acidity, tannin, wood and a long finish of close to 45 seconds. This wine can be drunk now or cellared for another 15-20 years.
