The 2011 Syrah James Berry Vineyard is another deep, intense wine. Plum, black cherries, smoke, tobacco and licorice wrap around the palate as the 2011 opens up. The 50% stems are barely noticeable, if at all. Villa Creek`s James Berry Syrah is built on density and pure, unbridled power, both signatures of this great Paso Robles site. The 2011 is 95% Syrah and 5% Roussanne aged in 60% new oak. (Drink between 2014-2021)
