An interesting mix of 73% Syrah and 27% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2012 Savant sports an inky purple color to go with outstanding notes of blackberry and plum-styled fruit, wild herbs and leather. This gives way to a full-bodied, thrillingly pure red that has building tannin, solid mid-palate depth and a textured, seamless style that-s hard to resist. It`s a big, rich and fruit-filled effort to enjoy over the coming 7-8 years.
