Another wine that pushed on my volatile acidity tolerance, the 2013 Law Vineyard (52% Grenache and 48% Syrah) comes from the hot, high elevation Law Vineyard and spent 18 months in 50% new French oak. Full-bodied, hedonistic and gorgeously textured, with ripe, sweet tannin, it gives up lots kirsch, red plums, spice and loamy, sandy soil-like aromas and flavors. It`s a big, sexy wine to drink over the coming 5-6 years.
