A blend of 47% Syrah, 38% Grenache and 15% Mourvedre, the 2014 LC Red Rising Tides Proprietary Red is another impeccably balanced, charming and sweetly fruited effort from winemaker Matt Trevisan. It gives up lots of black raspberries, caramelized cherries, scorched earth and toasted spice. About as seamless as they come, with ultra-fine tannin and a great mid-palate, it`s a killer GSM blend from Paso Robles to enjoy anytime over the coming decade.
