The 2013 Booker Red is a more Grenache-slanted effort that checks in as 49% Grenache, 35% Syrah and 16% Mourvedre. Full-bodied, rich and unctuously textured, with lots of red and black fruits, smoke and underbrush characteristics, it`s one of the more decadent and mouth-filling releases in the lineup and will drink nicely through 2023 or beyond.

Inky purple. Smoky, spice-accented aromas of blueberry, cherry cola and floral pastilles pick up a subtle mineral nuance in the glass. Round and expansive in character, offering sweet, palate-coating dark berry flavors and a suave candied violet nuance. Supple, polished tannins give shape to the persistent finish, which leaves juicy dark berry and peppery spice notes behind.
