The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Family Reserve is medium to deep garnet in color with a slowly evolving nose of black berry preserves, kirsch and incense notes with hints of dried herbs, potpourri, earth and leather plus a waft of rose hip tea. The full-bodied, rich, concentrated and complex palate offers firm, grainy tannins and a lively acid line lifting the long, layered finish.
