The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Tomahawk Vineyard comes from the southern edge of the estate. The color is a saturated ruby/purple. The wine possesses juicy, intense, pure, well-etched blackcurrant and black cherry fruit intermixed with underlying rocky minerality. This opulent, full-bodied 2012 is among the most concentrated and broadly textured of Chimney Rock’s 2012s. A beauty, it can be drunk early in life or cellared for 15 or more.

Shows excellent structure, focus, richness and texture, with a deep and potent core of currant and dark berry flavors. The texture is framed by firm yet generous tannins, and the finish is long and engaging. Drink now through 2029.
