- Ott’s golden yellow-colored 2006 Grüner Vetliner Rosenberg Reserve - spontaneously fermented to almost 14% alcohol, following 20 hours of skin contact - displays a clear, intense and elegant bouquet of ripe white and tropical fruits; it has a lovely purity, mineral depth and herbal/vegetal notes. Round (with eight grams of residual sugar), this wine is very rich and elegant on the palate, with lots of tropical fruit flavors and a good grip. This is a densely woven, powerful and glycerin-like, but very elegant Veltliner. It possesses a long and concentrated finish, as well as some nutty flavors.
