A tank sample, the 2015 L`Insolent is a blend of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon and 28% Petit Verdot. Deep garnet-purple colored, it leaps from the glass with vibrant red and black currant notes with a dried herb, dusty earth, garrigue and tree bark undercurrent, plus a touch of pencil lead. Medium to full-bodied, with plenty of red and black fruits on the palate and a complex, earthy undercurrent, it has a good frame of chewy tannins and lively acid, finishing on an earthy note.
