The 2015 The Dissident unfurls in the glass with a youthfully fruit-driven bouquet of ripe blackberries and cherries and a classy framing of new oak. On the palate, it`s full-bodied, lavish and expansive, its polished, velvety tannins concealed in a ripe core of fruit, only asserting themselves on the finish. This is a ripe but succulent Bordeaux blend that wears its heart on its sleeve and will surely find many admirers. It`s composed of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 16% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot.
