One of my favorite Pinots in the lineup, the 2012 Pinot Noir The Prospect Sierra Madre Vineyard offers fabulously ripe aromas of black cherries, framboise, sweet spices, vanilla bean and spring flowers that continue to evolve with time in the glass. Rich, textured and seamless on the palate, with a solid mid-palate and a seamless, silky texture that covers polished tannin and integrated acidity, it’s hard to resist now, but will continue to evolve nicely over the coming 5-7 years, possibly longer.
