Made from an intriguing blend of 40% Tempranillo, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Syrah from organically grown vines planted in slate and clay soils, this cuvée was aged four months in French oak. A Mediterranean-styled effort, it exhibits a dense ruby/purple color followed by notes of lavender, wild herbs, black cherries and blackcurrants. Medium-weight with moderate body and lively, fresh richness with a hint of oak in the background, it can be consumed over the next several years.
