- The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Black Label exhibits lead pencil shavings, spring flowers, blueberry and blackcurrant fruit, a medium to full body and elegance allied to serious power. This is a stylish, impeccably crafted wine that is broad, flavorful and impressive. Drink it over the next 20 years.
- V94
- The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Black Label emerges mostly from blocks within the family's Oakville vineyards, plus a dollop of fruit from Calistoga. Today, the 2014 is dense, super-ripe and explosive, yet I also get the sense it is holding quite a bit back.
