- The 2015 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Petite Chapelle demanded patience for the nose to develop. It eventual does open up and offer attractive crushed strawberry, raspberry preserve and cold stone aromas, just a hint of incense developing with time. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp acidity, slightly meaty in style with a well-defined finish that needs more time to fully absorb the oak. Good depth and substance here, it will benefit from 3-4 years in bottle.
