Donelan Family Wines is a boutique winery, with vineyards located all throughout Sonoma. This family owned winery produces a delicious variety of wines such as Syrah, Pinot Noir, Grenache, Chardonnay, and Viognier. Despite this list, the star of the show is Syrah. This small family vineyard puts the grape and what it can give to man as its priority, which is an inspiration to most winemakers in California.
Tasting Notes

- The 2013 Chardonnay Nancie (1,620 cases) is aged in 18% new oak for ten months and is slightly lower in alcohol at 14.1%. Crisp pear notes along with citrus blossom and wet rocks are followed by a medium to full-bodied, singular style with notes of white currants and apple skin. This is a medium to full-bodied, fresh, concentrated, locked-and-loaded style of wine. The terrific acidity and modest alcohol (for a Chardonnay these days) give it wonderful uplift and vibrancy. Drink it over the next 4-5 years.

- Donelan`s 2013 Chardonnay Nancie pulses with energy and drive. Almonds, lemon peel, savory herbs and smoke open up in the glass. The style is bright, high-acid and beautifully focused throughout.
