The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon J. Davies Jack & Jamie’s Block is a very pretty, mid-weight offering laced with sweet dark red fruit, flowers, tobacco and licorice. Deceptively medium in body, the wine shows gorgeous balance in an understated, feminine style. Mint, flowers and sweet red cherries wrap around the long, polished finish. In 2009 the blend incorporates 2% Malbec. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2017.
