- Pears and apples can be discerned in the aromatics of the 1999 Riesling Senftenberg Piri Privat. Light-to-medium-bodied and satin-textured, it has a flavor profile composed of white fruits, red berries, flowers, minerals and lemons. Refined, this flavorful wine has impressive depth as well as a finish that appears to roar back to life after 30 seconds or so. Projected maturity: now-2008.
