There is just the lightest touch of toast in this full-bodied wine. The fruit, structured and dense, is forward and ripe at the same time. Spice and crisply fresh acidity give a lift to the concentration of the wine which finished with ripe apricot and vanilla flavors. Drink from 2019.

A discreet application of wood sets off the ripe yellow orchard fruit, quinine and wet stone nuances. There is good minerality and plenty of punch to the unusually fine medium weight flavors that possess a really lovely mouth feel on the notably saline finish where the oak displayed by the nose resurfaces. Good stuff and worth a look.Range: 90-93
