Grace Family Vineyards

In 1976, Dick Grace, a stockbroker in San Francisco, would spend his weekends exploring Napa Valley where he then stumbled upon the opportunity to buy 3.5 acres of land in St. Helena that was mostly planted with olives. Dick and his wife Ann trusted their gut and planted Cabernet Sauvignon. These vineyards started out as a family hobby, as friends and family gathered to pick the grapes of their first harvest in 1978.

It was a serendipitous surprise to the Grace Family of how quickly their wines were recognized as one of the first ‘cult wines’. As they continue to produce outstanding wines they also run The Grace Family Foundation which supports over 20 charities helping children around the world.
