The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon, another exception, comes from the Erba Vineyard in Napa, not far from the Atlas Peak AVA. It is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 22 months in 50% new French oak. This is a beauty. Plenty of charcoal, licorice, blackcurrants, berry fruit, some underbrush and forest floor are present in this full-bodied, luscious, sexy and seductive style of Cabernet. Drink it over the next 10 years.
