Lastly, the 2013 The Overthinker is a silky, polished and elegant 2013 that has ample kirsch, blackberries, ground herbs and dried flower-like aromas and flavors. Complex, seamless and medium to full-bodied, with bright acidity and fabulous purity, it`s up with some of the top Grenache-dominated releases coming out of California. Made from 57% Grenache, 29% Syrah and 14% Mourvedre, it needs a decant (as do all of Matt`s newly bottled wines) if drinking anytime soon and should shine through 2025.
