Diego and his wife, Nora, stumbled upon the iconic Cerbaiona estate at the end of the 1970’s and the life of retirement quickly filled with dreams of winemaking. The Molinaris modeled their philosophy after Montalcino’s best and most traditional producers. Grapes are hand-harvested and fermentation is done in cement tanks no additional additives are used. The wine is as natural as can be imagined with inclusion of natural yeasts and older oak barrels. What comes through in the wines are true masterpieces of land and environment that has inspired the Molinaris' through retirement and beyond.
