Soldera

Gianfranco and Graziella Soldera began farming their famous Case Basse vineyard in the 1970’s. At the same time they are devoted to cutting edge vineyard management, which they call “enlightened agriculture,” and old school wine making practices. They work with scholars from universities across Italy to carry out exciting research in their vineyard, and they rest their wines for up to five years in Slovonian Oak casks. They keep them quite and add nothing including cultured yeasts, and they consistently make some of the best Brunello di Montalcino in Tuscany.
