With vineyards located all throughout Sonoma, La Follette produces some of the most ‘site-driven’ Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs within modern California winemaking. These site driven wines are representations of the terroir within their vineyards. Therefore it is a large collection of Sonoma flavors and soils. The winery is gifted by the terroir, and not the other way around.

- From Sonoma County, the 2012 Pinot Noir Cuvee Barlow is a selection from some of the best barrels from winemaker Greg La Follette, in particular the hilltop terroirs of Van der Kamp and DuNah. Abundant forest floor, black cherry and black currant notes jump from the glass of this dark ruby/plum-colored wine. A beautiful texture, impressive purity, medium to full body and an elegant, layered mouthfeel suggest this terrific Pinot Noir will drink well for 4-5 years.
