The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Aiken Oakville has the potential to be a show-stopper. Its dense purple color is accompanied by sweet black currant fruit, licorice, graphite and floral notes. Complex aromatically, it hits the palate with resounding power, medium to full body and a long, juicy finish. This sexy, open-knit Cabernet is drinkable now, and capable of lasting a decade or more.

Ripe to the edge of being pruny, but very complete, rich and layered, offering tiers of melted black licorice, dried currant and plum, ending with a persistence that echoes the core flavors.
