A rich, opulent style, delivering ripe black cherry, mineral and oak spice flavors. This is supple and inviting, with firm, well-integrated tannins for structure. Spice and licorice notes grace the aftertaste. Best from 2014 through 2024.

Discreet wood sets off a reasonably fresh red berry, earth and underbrush infused nose that precedes ripe, rich and full-bodied flavors that possess a textured mouth feel due to the abundant sap that also buffers the solid but integrated tannins on the powerful and impressively long finish. This is certainly very good but it's clear that this is not quite at the same level as the Cazetiers.
