Another rock-star effort that makes the most of what Paso Robles can offer, the 2012 The Overthinker (57% Syrah, 32% Grenache and 11% Mourvedre) offers lots of juicy berry fruits, peppery herbs and underbrush to go with a big, voluptuous and silky style on the palate. While a full-throttle effort, it stays lively and pure and is always a joy to drink, which is a common trait in all of Matt`s wines. It`s drinking nicely today, but will evolve nicely on its balance.
