For the last 130 years, Maison Joseph Drouhin has been in the hands of the Drouhin family. Today, the fourth generation is at the helm, animated by the same passion that inspired the founder of the company.

- Drouhin owns two parcels, a total of 2.25 acres, in Clos de Vougeot on a slight incline facing east. In 2010, this was vinified with a large portion of whole bunches, the vintage yielding a wine of power and grace, formed in a seemingly perfect sphere. The vibrand color parallels the brightness of the flavor, its red berry freshness preserved in floral scents and a gentle touch of earthiness that reverberates underneath. A classic.
- WS93
- A big, rich, yet brooding '09 red, with a hint of animal to the plum, cherry, currant and spice flavors that butt up against the massive, though not overly obtrusive, tannins. Compact now. Best from 2015 through 2032.
