- There is so much to like in Crocker & Starr`s 2012 Cabernet Franc. A warm, resonant wine, the 2012 blossoms on the palate with tons of pure varietal character. Grilled herbs, mocha, cedar and new leather are all laced together in an absolutely exquisite wine endowed with gorgeous resonance and depth. The flavors are broad and expansive throughout. I expect the 2012 will offer a wide drinking window of pleasure over the next 10-15 years, perhaps longer.
