Rudd Estate has been producing its cult wines with fruit from Oakville and Mount Veeder since 1996. The family-owned winery focuses its portfolio on two red and two white wines that are primarily composed of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc, respectively. The red wines are sourced from the clay-rich volcanic soils of the Rudd Oakville vineyards and are named after the owners’ vintner and daughter, Samantha Rudd. The estate’s Mount Veeder vineyards are planted at an altitude ranging all the way to 1600 feet above sea level and mostly to Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, while the Oakville vineyards are considered some of the well-manicured in all of Napa Valley.
