Tasting Notes

WA90–92
The 2012 Pinot Noir Freestone Vineyard achieved 14.3% alcohol. Its saturated dark ruby color is followed by abundant notes of Asian spices, strawberries, cherries, a hint of underbrush and a medium-bodied, rich mouthfeel with good acidity, but no oak poking through. Consume it over the next 5-7 years. Range: 90-92 Points
WE90
Crafted from grapes grown in two estate vineyards, Pastorale and Quarter Moon, this wine deftly provides a taste of wild strawberry and feral forest floor, offering concentration within a lean frame. The finish memorably imprints lasting cardamom spice.
