Celia Welch, consulting winemaker to some of Napa Valley’s finest Cabernet Sauvignon estates, is proud to welcome you to her own endeavor, CORRA. Grapes from three prime vineyards in three of Napa Valley’s premium growing regions, Oakville, Rutherford and Pritchard Hill, combine to create the powerful yet elegant Corra Cabernet Sauvignon.
Celia believes in the complexities different vineyards can bring to a wine and her Cabernet Sauvignon is always a blend of fruit from multiple vineyards. For years she has created her Corra Cabernet Sauvignon from premium vineyards in Oakville, Rutherford and from Pritchard Hill. Celia works with only sustainable farmed vineyards.
Tasting Notes

- The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon is a big, rich, expansive wine. Layers of blue and black fruit, spices and flowers flow gracefully from this textured, inviting Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2009 possesses an inner glow and warmth that is immensely appealing. An elegant, finessed finish rounds things out beautifully. This is a terrific showing from Celia Welch. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2024.
