The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is a cool, inward wine. It shows gorgeous vibrancy and freshness in its dark fruit. Blackberries, blueberries, tar, violets and mint are some of the notes that flow from this sublime, textured Cabernet. This is more reticent and medium in body than most 2009s. It shows exquisite finesse and tons of subtlety. A long finish rounds things out in style. Simply put, this is a stunning showing. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2024.
