Coming from a long lineage of Italian winemakers and raised in the Napa Valley, brothers Matt, Jay, Aaron and Nate Buoncristiani knew from a young age that they would go into winemaking. Founded in 1999, the winery is a collective effort of the brothers who have before and since worked with other producers on countless vintages, but came together to combine the best aspects of past experiences. The star of their portfolio is, obviously, the Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon which is made from fruit from the revered appellations of Howell Mountain and Coombsville. Buoncristiani makes a red blend made out of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Malbec and Merlot as well as small amounts of Dolcetto as a tribute to their Northern Italian heritage.
