Darioush wines are the culmination of culture, art, history and human ideals. It was founded by Iranian-born entrepreneur Darioush Khaledi and his wife Shahpar who emigrated to the U.S. in 1976. Their global search for property ended in Napa’s southern valley in Altamura Winery’s old property in 1997 where Darioush and Steve Devitt chose to produce Bordeaux-styled wines in the cooler microclimates of Mount Veeder and Oak Knoll. They honor their heritage, their workers, and their vineyards with a balance of modern and ancient approaches that make their wines attractive to wine connoisseurs everywhere. Their estate is one of the most majestic and hospitable locales in all of Napa Valley. You have to see it to believe it.
