Henri Boillot

As a fifth-generation vigneron, Henri Boillot began his education at a young age at his family’s winery. After taking some time off to open his own mini- négociant house, he was able to return “home” to take over the family estate, and one of the most well-known, in all of Burgundy. Although Henri does not own the vineyards in which the grapes are harvested from, he farms them as precisely as if they were his own. Some of his wines include several Premier Crus from Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet, Volnay, and Savigny-les-Beaune. Henri’s family established themselves in Burgundy in 1885, and recently the addition of his son, Guillaume, to the family business has demonstrated that the family love affair with grapes is not dissipating any time soon.
