Snowden

For three generations, the Snowden family has been farming red grapes on their ranch which overlooks the towns of Rutherford and St. Helena in Napa Valley. The vineyards are planted well above the valley floor which give the wines the concentrated and complex finish that they are known for. After releasing their first vintage in 1993, they have grown to produce two Bordeaux blends from their estate vineyards and a small amount of Sauvignon Blanc from premier sites throughout the Valley. The site also is the source for grapes for several other vintners such as Silver Oak Wine Cellars, Frank Family Vineyard, David Ramey, Viader and Caymus. Snowden wines have continuously received very high ratings, and their limited case production makes them even more desirable to consumers.
