Clos Dubreuil

Clos Dubreuil stretches across the right bank of Bordeaux that drinks just as well as a young wine as it does a more aged and vinous expression. The chateau produces about 2700 cases of Clos Dubreuil a year and has a second wine (called Anna) and third wine (called Clara). In 2011, owner Benoit Trocard acquired the old Libourne Horse Racing Society land and is slowly turning it into a vineyard that he hopes to produce world class wine from in the future. The land has not been farmed in over 100 years and is full of promise. In 2013, Clos Dubreuil expanded their portfolio by introducing a White Burgundy made of 100% Chardonnay to their repertoire. Only 100 cases of the White Burgundy are available annually, an echo of the small and hard to find production that rings through Clos Dubreuil.
