Located on the Right Bank of Bordeaux in the commune of Saint-Emillion lies the picturesque Clos de l’Oratoire winery. They were granted Grand Cru classification in 1969, a well-deserved accolade that reflects the beautiful quality of wines being produced at the winery. Each year the blend will change to represent the best the vintage has to offer, as will the oak regimen (which can range anywhere from 40%-60% new French Oak). Their annual production of the Merlot based blends rests a little under 4000 cases per year, so little that it virtually disappears the moment it hits the market place.
