The Debate, rightly named, produces three different 100% Cabernet Sauvignons, from three different vineyards all within the Napa Valley. The geniuses behind this three way side by side terroir comparison are Jean Hoefliger and Rob Mckay. The Debate Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Oakville, The Debate Beckstoffer To Kalon Oakville, and The Debate Beckstoffer Dr. Crane St Helena. Missouri Hopper has the coolest of the climates, To Kalon is at the base of the Mayacamas Mountains, and Dr. Crane has the warmest of the climates. Those are the only differences. The production is extremely small and the wines, compared against each other, are worth the search!
