Altamura Vineyards is a certain soil and microclimate hub located within the Napa Valley, possessing 12 different soil types. Altamura prides themselves with the ability to utilize these different soil types to plant different Cabernet Sauvignon clones and rootstocks, to create the best possible Cabernet Sauvignon. Along with Cabernet, Altamura has planted Sangiovese and Negroamaro in the more nutrient insufficient regions and found wonderful success.
